Our story

DGTAL was born in 2020, when a pandemic paused one insurance venture and started another. Insurance entrepreneur Arndt Gossmann, deep-tech scientist Dr. Florian Herzog and business transformation expert Vanda Giannara set their teams a question: could AI finally read the files regulated industries had been sitting on for decades? By 2021 there was a prototype. In 2022, DGTAL was founded, and the platform went into production the following year.

Today, DGTAL is a European Agentic AI company for regulated enterprises — headquartered in Hamburg, with offices in Athens, supporting leading insurers, financial institutions and big corporates across Europe.
